The Scramp shares your desk with a drawer of small tools — and it does not just sit beside them. Open one and it walks to a console prop and works at it while the panel is open.

Honest scope
These are desk tools, not replacements for real software. The notepad is a notepad — it is not an IDE. The vault stores secrets locally and is not a synced password manager. Each panel says what it does and does not do, because a tool that oversells itself is worse than no tool.
The receiver deserves a specific note. Its generative side is synthesized on your machine: nothing streams, nothing is fetched, no track is downloaded, which is why it works offline and why it never shows an ad. It can also tune live internet radio — that half does stream, from the station’s own server, and only once you tune one. The live tuner is free and always will be: we sell the player, never somebody else’s stream.
