Feeding — make food from anything

Drop any file; it reads what the thing means, hands you a legible morsel, and you feed it.

The Scramp eats a morsel made from the file you dropped.

Feeding is the only thing that changes your Scramp’s stats. Not time, not clicking it, not leaving it running overnight — one channel, and you control it.

Drop any file on it: a song, a meme, a screenshot, a link. It reads what the thing means in the culture, not what it literally contains. A sad-frog meme is not “a green amphibian” — it is ironic detachment, underdog humour, an in-group signal — and that is what shapes who your Scramp becomes.

Every food is deterministic. Its flavour, family badge, portion (nibble · meal · feast) and notes come straight from the artifact’s reading, so the same file always makes the same morsel. No model call, no cost, no surprise.

Feeding it

  1. Drop a file on the Scramp, or double-click to re-feed the last one.
  2. It is safety-checked, converted into a food, and shelved in the pantry.
  3. Feed it — the Scramp eats, and its stats and form-pressure shift.
  4. Keep or spit out — your call is how you shape who it becomes.

Nothing spoils and nothing expires. The pantry is a shelf, not a timer — there is no hunger bar here, and skipping a week costs you nothing.

Flavour, family lean and garnishes all come from the reading — the same file always makes the same food. Nothing spoils and nothing expires.
